On the West Coast of the United States, California is a popular place to live. Even in their history, many people rushed to live in California.

California is referred to as, the golden state. This title was made the official State Nickname in 1968.

This nickname is particularly appropriate since California's modern development can be traced back to the discovery of gold in 1848. This discovery created a rush to California.

Many had dreams of making a fortune. Some found gold and others did not. But they all discovered the beauty of the golden state.

Whether it is job, recreational, real estate, or other opportunities California has always provided a great place for people to live.
